A Desk Opened in Phra Nakhon
Heirloom Desk was established in 2019 by Saowapa Lertwattanakul, a Bangkok native who spent years working in records management. After helping her own extended family arrange their documents during a period of significant change, she noticed how few accessible, unhurried options existed for families in Thailand who simply wanted to put their papers in order.
The original desk occupied a single room on Maha Rat Road — a narrow street that has quietly served Phra Nakhon households for generations. The name came naturally: an heirloom is something you keep with care and pass forward with meaning. A desk is where that care begins.
Today Heirloom Desk serves families across Bangkok who would like their important documents sorted, labelled, and kept in a way that makes sense to everyone in the household — without pressure, jargon, or unnecessary complication.
Our Mission
Making Records Feel Manageable
Our purpose is straightforward: to help households keep their papers in a clear, accessible order. We do not offer individual guidance on any matter. Everything we do — from our one-to-one sessions to our membership checklists — is general and informational in nature.
We believe that families benefit from knowing where their documents are and what each one contains. The act of sorting a folder, labelling an envelope, or reading a plain-language explanation of how records are commonly organised can reduce uncertainty and help a household feel more prepared.
